Well, it was inevitable I suppose. I love travel, cooking and music. I have already got the travel and recipe bit covered in my website so I needed somewhere to include my passion for musicy things. So here it is!

SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
I have created a Grunty Top 20 Spotify Playlist which I will update every couple of months.Click on the link below if you want to listen to some great music!
Coloured Vinyl Record of the month
To start things off I have created a Coloured Vinyl Record of the Month page as I love records and coloured ones even more! The first one is for January 2021.
Music from Scandinavia
There is so much great music coming from Scandinavia especially Iceland. I now have pages on Norwegian Music , Music from Iceland , Music from Denmark and Music from Sweden. Each page has a link to a Spotify playlist for your listening pleasure.

Gruntie’s Gig Books

Yes I know- it’s very nerdy but I have kept a record of most of the gigs I have attended since 1979 ! I normally get to see well over 100 bands a year, although not so much during the pandemic! I plan to archive all of these for posterity so that should keep me busy! I’ll add photos too if I have any good ones.
Bo Ningen Aurora
I will be starting off archiving gigs from 2020 and working backwards. So if you are as nerdy as me and want to take a peek, click on the links-

JFDR – St Pancras Old Church, London Grimm Grimm, The Rosehill, Brighton Dog in the Snow, The Green Door Store, Brighton
I have missed going to gigs so bloody much since the pandemic but I still managed to get to a fair few in 2020- Highlights included – Rockaway Beach Festival in Bognor and Grimm Grimm, Alice Boman and Dog in the Snow in Brighton and JFDR and Kid Francescoli in London. It was a few days after the Kid Francescoli gig in March that my wife and I became rather ill and were bedridden for 2 weeks. The first pandemic lockdown came a few days too late- great gig though!
