Finding the Corinth Canal was not that easy, even when following directions in The Bradt Guide. We eventually managed to find where it started on the West, parked up and walked to the bridge carrying the main road.
Walking along the canal was exhilarating but it was stinking hot and we were getting scorched. We crossed over the canal on a bridge that was carrying a sewer pipe, the views were amazing but you had to hold your nose.
Apart from the canal itself the walk is not that great as there are piles of rubbish and some dodgy looking characters hanging around, although the WW2 Pill boxes were an interesting find.
