Most of the pages about Greece on my website are dedicated to the Peloponnese which is the southern part of the Greek mainland. I have now started to venture north of the Gulf of Corinth and have visited the incredible sites of Delphi and Meteora.

The old walled town of Ioannina is also an attractive place for a stopover and if you are driving, the Katara Pass through the Pindhos Mountains offers spectacular views although the road can be a bit dodgy.

You can get to the Greek Mainland from the Peloponnese by ferry or over the splendid Rio-Antirrio Bridge or from the East from Athens.
